When your new bull arrives at your place

Always have a welcoming party in the form of a few cows or steers - never other bulls - to greet your new bull on arrival. Leave the bull yarded with the welcoming mob over night. Ensure there is plenty of hay and water available. All of this will help the new bull settle into your place more easily. Our Bulls are sold in good working condition but as they are young and still growing it is important that you ensure their nutritional needs are met. Young bulls particularly should only be in with cows for a period of 6 weeks. Never let a young bull drop below condition...
